It hurts my heart to see once great buildings that were lived in and loved abandoned and still with at times the belongings of the former owners still inside. These buildings have a sad fate either left to rot and collapse under its own weight, vandalised by punkish yobs who have no care or respect for history, the collectors who wish to add the belongings of the former owners to their grubby collections or the goverment building planing and health and safety men who look at the buildings and say "this building has no use in today's world sell the contents at auction and tear the building down" and they but a field or nasty looking modern building in the place of the old building. Then there are the secret ones the urban explorers who video and photograph the abandon buildings and keep the location secret and leave after exploring, and still through it all the wrath of nature the building stands and waits for many long days, months, years or longer waiting for it's former owners to come back or for some kind soul to come along and repair it and make it what it once was........a Home.
